Customer Comments
My stay at Platinum Park was just for 2 nights and 3 days. The staff change shifts so you are likely to get a helpful staff member and one who is not so helpful. They did try their best to speak english which was good.We did not take meals so I am not sure what the meals are like or if they did provide meals. The cleaning staff are great but just note that if you need extra accessories for the room you will have to ask at the main reception because the cleaning staff cannot give you anything without the permission from reception.I was in a shared room for 2 people but the room was set up with one of each item example, water for 1 person, 1 toothbrush, 1 pair of slippers, 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel. So we had to ask for a second of everything. Tea for one person. They do not provid coffee only tea. So make sure you carry your own coffee if you drink coffee. There is a kettle in the room but the electrical cord is too short to be plugged into the wall socket, we had to put the kettle on a low chair or on the floor in order to use it. There was only one wall socket which was used for the fridge so when we needed to make tea we had to pull out the fridge plug and use the kettle. The wifi worked wonderfully everyday which is a good thing. The one thing I did not like and I wish they will change. The cleaners stored the trolly with dirty laundry outside our room door. So everytime we opened the door this large trolly with dirty laundry was stored outside our room and with the ironing boared stored next to it. I wish they would use the laundry room to store the dirty laundry. The room was neat but had a stale musky smell. It tells me the rooms are not aired out or windows opened. We opened the window to let in freah air but it was just too musky we had to keep the airconditioning on all day and all night just not to have that smell in the room.Don't expect daily room service. We were told we had to ask at reception for daily room service like clean towels, trash emptied, fill up on water and tea and beds made. The staff were happy to give us whatever we needed. We had the room with the front view which was lovely from the top floor. A nice big reception and waiting area. Its a pity there is no outside sitting area with the lovely cool weather it would be great to have an outside sitting area out of the musky smelling room. Our flight was very late that night and the staff were kind enough to let us check out late.
I have checked in on 20th July evening. On 21st July morning there is no water in washroom . I have called reception from 8.30 am but reception person told that water will be available within 10 min. I have lost 2 hours since morning because of water.
It took them 40 min to check me inIn order to clean the roomOnce i got to the roomBed sheets and blankets were disgustingSome spots of urine were in the seatTo much noiseFire alarm or something else went on while was sleepingI had to call three times to get my backpack and my stuff to the roomI told the receptionist to make a wake up call , he forgot to handle it over the next shiftBut the location was greatI hope they can work on that disadvantages
The worst hotel booking experience I faced ever with this property and agoda agent. For me It's not a matter of cleaning, price or furniture, this time had spent the hole day and night with my kids and wife waiting to check-in to my booked suite untill 11pm.There was unprofessional managment attitude from property and agoda company and I'll never try them both again. While they can't manage their guests bookings, even just now 1:00.am same officer callling me to ask about booking nights!!! Very strange.
Very nice reception, cooperative staff, calmness, clean, on main road. But swimming pool water cold.Indeed they are very good people. I booked for 2 nights, but next day I decided to go to Makkah and they returned me one day payment back
